I haven't seen this picture but am intrigued by the fact that it stars Susan Backlinie. Surely you must all know who she is? She played Chrissie in Jaws. She was stunning in that picture and something of a horror icon. I just wish she'd had a fuller acting career as she had the looks and ability. Spielberg immortalised her as a sort of doomed mermaid! At least she had a funnier turn in another of his movies, 1941 (and she survives!!).

I did like the review, and the sarcasm.  I remember seeing this at a theatre.  What you didn't mention was the acting. for this type of movie, it was pretty good. and in that situation, anything could spring out at you so all the characters should have been more manic. The ozone thing was a silly excuse though, why weren't the human brains affected? the thought of different predators working together, which occasionally happens in the wild, is quite scary, and I know people who are afraid of the smallest animal, like a bat or pigeon, so they should have looked even more scared and irrational.. spears would have made great weapons, and well as big hand held rocks.
