Guest review by Russell Shiley.  Besides the seedy sexual situations, this movie is about a demented killer who attack blue-eyed, blond-haired women and removes their eyes for some indecipherable purpose.

Never seen the film before, but I don't feel any need in seeing it after hearing how confusing it is.  On the other hand, you don't often hear about people getting killed by rakes in movies...

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Thanks for the comment, IG!
I would actually recommend it for the last minute or so, if you like disturbing images in your movies.  I won't spoil it for you, but for those who like to be haunted by a particular scene in a film or like to be thoroughly disgusted once in a while.. yuck!!!

I saw this film 20 years ago under the HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN title.

I can't remember a thing about it except being disappointed in the paucity of psychotic women.  TongueOut

Yeah, they weren't really psychotic per se.. they had their problems but nothing too out of the ordinary, just the handicaps.  And the fact that one of them has a dude's name. Question

I first saw it a long time ago, mid-eighties, and as a teen it scared the crap out of me because I hadn't seen ocular trauma in film before.  Plus the last minute of the film just stuck in my brain in a yucky way.  Bleck!!!

Of course, I look at it now and see just how stupid it is.. too bad, it could have been a lot better.

Yeah, this is a (obviously terrible) attempt to do an Italian giallo flick - the Eurotrash-style slasher that has more red herrings than a bad can of Chicken of the Sea, and superflous characters to boot...and the endings always try to be more twisted than necessary...but the fact that Paul Naschy(Gilles)actually tried to do one of these is...well...interesting. I think he should stick with horror, personally. I recognize some of the ladies from his previous werewolf/vampire flicks, so at least he knows how to keep his friends/acquaintances employed. Ach--sorry Andrew, no Marine should have to suffer through that...

I agree Paulie.. and most giallo that I've seen from the '70s or '80s are JUST like that.   Suspiria and Twitch Of The Death Nerve are two rare exceptions.

I am not really into distrubing and disgusting scenes (Learned that lesson when reading Parayste and watching Silent Hill), so I guess this movie is out the question for me.

That soundtrack clip sounds like both my toilet and bathroom taps dripping.  Wink

Released under that title by Al Adamson through his Independent International company..that alone, should tell you much.  Smile
