THE BABY (1973) - This is a must see. What a sick film this one is. You will want to turn the movie off within minutes of starting this film, but you just won't be able to. It is really that bizarre. The story starts out with a social worker who goes to meet a family that has a full grown baby who wears diapers and uses a bottle. She begins to notice something isn't right beside the apparent oddity of this man acting like a baby and sleeping in a crib. The family made up of a mother and two adult daughters. All three are real sickos. They managed to stop the maturity of this person by inflicting pain on him throughout his life. Any time he attempted to walk or anything resembling growth they put him in a closet or cause him pain. The scenes are to much to believe. Won't tell you about his sisters and mother to much and just can't reveal the ending. All the acting is decent and the film is really sick even though it has a comic edge to it. Geneon Entertainment released this bizarre film and I picked it up for $2.99 at Suncoast. It's a very fast moving 85 minutes.
