Here are some films that are coming out this December. Are you looking forward to going to see them at the theater?

Will probably watch APOCALYPTO next week.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Without a doubt...Rocky Balboa!

Apocalypto looks kind of interesting, although I still haven't figured out what it's supposed to be about.

It has to be "Rocky Balboa."  I think for the same reason that people will watch a something caught by a jellyfish, all the way unil it is drawn inside.  It has been stung, you know it is probably dead, but, "What if?"

I'll probably go see Eragon and I'll take my brother to see Apocalypto. He's into Native cultures.

Apocalypto is evidently very gory (human sacrifices and such).

Here's the Wikipedia article about it .   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypto

Decided not to go to APOCALYPTO after reading the reviews over at rottentomatoes.com which is the site I always check before heading to the theater. They gave it 64% which made it less appealling to take the family out to see it. Also heard it's very very violent, but I will check it out when it comes to DVD as it seems to be the only film that I know of to depict the Mayan civilization.

Might go to see NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, ROCKY BALBOA, or ERAGAN if the reviews are decent when they come out.

We are thinking about seeing ERAGON and/or NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM.  I don't really know much about the others.

The reviews for the new ROCKY film are starting to come in and it sounds like it's going to be a good one. ROCKY BALBOA and maybe NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM for the holidays.

Charlotte's Web

If you have kids, I highly recommend this film. I took my daughter (Charlotte) to see it today. We both loved it. It was a really beautiful movie if you have read the book. Very well done and all the kids in the theater seemed to be glued to it...including my daughter who can't seem to sit still through anything over 5 minutes long.

What is BLACK CHRISTMAS about? Is it about an evil Santa or is it a Spike Lee type thing or what? I never get a chance to go to theaters to much,as (besides the Strand in Paw Paw,which takes FOREVER to recieve newer films) the theatres are all in Kalamazoo, which is about 25 miles away, and our beat up old van is to iffy to make that drive in the winter.BUT I DID pick up a box set of Ren and Stimpy cartoons for my kids ,so I'll watch those with them.

Yes Scott, it's a new release that just came out Friday.

Where have I been...oh hell...real life gets in the way of things you know? I still stop in and read but I just don't post as often as I used to. I hope to get back to doing it soon.

Get out while you still can Odinn7!!

Well maybe not, but I'm sure you've noticed that the squirrels and their beastly friends seem to be stepping up their assault now that you're not around as much.

As for Charlotte's Web, a friend of mine did some work on that [only a little] and quite enjoyed it apparently.  It should be a good un'.

As for the other soon to be released films.  Is it just me or is there alot of 'The Good...' movies coming out soon.  I swear there's at least 4, but can't remember since I can't distinguish them all...

Its actually a remake of a 1975 film of the same name. Its slasher type film with a girls sorority celebrating X-Mas at house that has a sordid history (Something about the house previous owners.)
