Hello all,

I'm new to the Badmovies.org discussion page, so hi!   Drink

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for this movie (Mutant, or Forbidden World).  I remember seeing it on Joe Bob Brigg's late Saturday night trash movie show when I was like 10 years old (haha, I know, my parents should have paid better attention to what movies I was watching at that age), and I have not seen it since.  Can anyone help me in finding it?  I will forever be in your debt!! Question Question

Thanks so much!

Welcome aboard!

This one has become difficult to find.  The only DVD I know of was a Region 2 (will not play on many US players) and PAL format (again, will not play on many US players - we use NTSC).  I actually have the laserdisc of this movie.

Ebay has some listings if you look under the "Forbidden World" title.  If you really want it, you could get the DVD and a code-free player that will do PAL to NTSC conversion.  A couple of places on the web sell players that have been modified as such.  The Pioneer 393 (I believe that is the model) is a good choice, after the mod chip has been installed.

I have not seen this play on late night cable, which is often a fall-back way to try and record some of these films.  Let's hope for a US DVD release in 2007.  Though, I would happily take a DVD of "Galaxy of Terror" before this one, if we are looking for Corman-involved films that need a DVD release.
