That does look interesting.  Let's hope that the story keeps up with the action they have created.

I get somewhat of an ID4 vibe from that trailer.

Transformers were popular after I had outgrown the target age, so any changes made are not going to upset me like they would others. Thus, I am open to anything when it comes to this film.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

The more I find out, the less I want to see it. :(  If it were some generic giant robot movie, sure, but they had to go and call it "TransFormers".

I agree...it does look pretty good and I also got that same ID4 vibe.
By the way, there's only going to be something like 7-10 Transformers in the entire film.
And Bumblebee isn't going to be a yellow Beetle.   Question

By the way, if any of you haven't seen
Clerks 2 Small | Large
yet, there's a hilarious scene in it about the upcoming Transformers movie.
One character even goes so far as to say that the Transformers were a gift from God.   BounceGiggle

I'm excited, but then again I'm a sucker for this type of thing...

The 80s movie is still a childhood and adulthood favourite.  I'm not enough of a TV series nut to really get upset about certain changes, and whilst it's Michael Bay, and I expect a shoddy story, I do trust him to at least make it flashy and vaguely entertaining, and really, that's all I need from this film.

It's on my 'to see' list.

Bay may come up with some weak stories, but he knows how to blow things up and cause general mayhem. This looks to be a good summer pop-corn kinda movie.

It looks like a moster movie with giant robots. Let me guess that they're going to concentrate on the human characters like those two pubescents in the trailer.

Thank god for Michael Bay. Without him who would blow stuff up and film it?

Let me guess that they're going to concentrate on the human characters like those two pubescents in the trailer.

That's my only complaint so far too. I want to see a pure blow stuff up movie. No romantic subplot, please. If they're gonna make the movie 99% blowing stuff up, why hold out on us? Go all the way!
