Hello all,

I'm trying to look for a film I saw many years ago.  I cannot remember the name, but I do remember a few things about it...

1. At least one character melted on-screen.  I believe he was standing at the edge of this bed, where a girl was laughing at him.  He was completely normal at the start of this scene, but realized his feet were melting into the floor.  So he reached out for the girl to help him.  She just kept laughing.  He continues to melt.  Finally, his face is mushed in a pile of goo on the floor before he melts completely.... all the while the girl laughing on the bed.

2.  Much of the film takes place in this house, one I assume is haunted.

Help!!!

Sounds like it could be Body Melt.  It's reviewed on this site if you want to look for it.

What about "Troll II?"

Of the movies I can think of, this seems to fit the best.

I don't think it was Body Melt...from the look of the photos, that doesn't ring a bell in my memory.  I will check out Troll 2 tho, esp. because I saw Troll 1 as a little kid and remembered some scenes from it as well.  Thanks for the help!

Be careful there, Troll 2 is an Italian production that has NOTHING to do with John Carl Buechler's flawed (but I think very fun) TROLL. Troll 2 is an awful piece of dreck but funny as hell. It's one of my favorite films to inflict on unwary friends!  BounceGiggle

nobody melts graphically and we never see the actually melting of a body in troll 2( you said his face was melting/melted and such) nor at the foot of a bed. im not sure what it is but i dont think its troll 2.

STREET TRASH(1987) maybe? Never seen it,but I know it's about some people who drink some stuff they think is booze and it causes them to melt.

"Slime City" looks like a really good lead.  Hopefully Mr. Greasemonkey will take a look at the IMDB entry and see if any other parts of the plot ring true.

And you got me interested in the film.  I put it on my list of movies that I need to see.

I've owned it for well over a year and have yet to watch it. Bluesad

Of course, now I have a reason to give it a spin.

I bought Slime City 2 days ago and got it in the mail yesterday. Wow that was fast, plus it was only $3 on amazon. I tried watching it like at 2am yesterday and fell asleep within 40 minutes of the movie, but I'm pretty sure this is the movie that this thread is about. Slime City is about a haunted apartment and it has melting effects, it must be it. It's a pretty bad movie and the main guy has a limp wrist when he hits people..kinda like a stereotypical homosexual.
