I have to agree with Howard the Duck and Radioactive Dreams.  I have Radioactive Dreams on LD and I have a bootleg DVD of both films, but I'd like a high quality legit release.  In particular, I'd like to see RD in widescreen - the cropping is pretty noticeable in some scenes.

Shadowfyre, that is a good list.  I do have a DVD of "Planet of the Dinosaurs" I purchased a few years ago.  It looks like it is still available from Amazon.com:

DVD from Amazon.com

To quote Jeff Spicoli: "Awesome! Totally awesome!" Only 5 bucks! That is so mine. Thanks for the tip!

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Monster Squad – Already mentioned.  My old used video store vhs looks awful.

From Hell it Came – Tree monster!

Legend of the Werewolf – Cool werewolf flick with the always good Peter Cushing.

The Werewolf (1956) I have heard good things about this one but I haven’t gotten around to picking up a bootleg of it yet.

The Undying Monster – More werewolf goodness.  And since I seem to be on a werewolf kick right now, I would love to see the Werewolf tv series get a DVD release.

On Monster Squad, I hear the original negatives were all lost.  Only thing they could master it from now is the Japanese LD.  Why they don't just do that is beyond me, as it has been done before and actually looks good if done well.  It has a strong enough following for good sales.

On that note, Fred Dekker's other classic b-movie Night of the Creeps is also out of print.

Oh, and I nominate Avenging Force.  There's an Aussie DVD release, but apparently it is very poor quality.

The one time I was at Suncoast Pictures with some friends and I mentioned Monster Squad and the cashier was like "I get asked if that's being released about 15 times a day" so you're right about that strong enough following.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars

On the Criterion website they've mentioned that they're going to release this on DVD in the near future.

I second Twice Upon a Time. My dad, sister, and I used to watch this over and over one summer when I figured out how to pick up Movie Channel by turning the tuning dial on the side of the old cable box. Dad found it in the TV listings, and suggested we watch it, we latched onto a gem purely by accident. I have a taped copy of the edited version that aired on Cartoon Network, need to dig it out.

Ever since I read about it on the site, I've wanted to see The Brain.

"Robinson Crusoe on Mars" is good news and Criterion always does such an amazing job on the discs.  I still pick up my "Fiend Without a Face" DVD and gaze at it in wonder.

Ever since I read about it on the site, I've wanted to see The Brain.

I am surprised it is not out on DVD, because it is an interesting film and it did try to throw a couple of ideas out there.  Let's hope Synapse and Shriek Show keep working the list of lesser-seen movies.  Anchor Bay seems to have slowed down a lot.

Another film that I wonder why a DVD is still MIA is "Food of the Gods."

And, gosh darn I just noticed this, "Gunbuster" is out on DVD!  Man, I might have to get that, just for the final one (there were 6 OVAs, if memory serves).

Seeing Dennis' avatar reminded me that War of the Gargantuas needs a good, legit DVD release. Is anyone working on that...say Media Blasters/Tokyo Shock? As for Japanese films, I'd also like to see The H-Man and The Human Vapor.

Two older 50's classics that I thought for sure would be included in Universal's recent Classics of Sci-Fi collection are Cult of the Cobra and The Deadly Mantis. One can only hope those were held back for a possible second volume.

You know I'm still suprised this is not on DVD. Its staple on regular TV and cable.  Whats the hold up anyway? Studio Rights maybe?
