Check this out -

Back in the mid-80's we used to get the movie channel, as well as the regular broadcast stations.  On the movie channel I remember seeing a sci-fi flic that burned a scene into my head, and that's about it.  For some reason digging into my memories, the movie was about some kind of purple jelly monster, or grape jelly monster, some kind of jelly thing.  There was a scene where it hid from it's victim (I think a woman) behind a curtain.  I'm thinking it was set on a spaceship, I might be wrong.

I know this isn't a hell of a lot if info, but I beg of your help!
