Peter,

Can I have it? I like Wildman Fischer because he reminds me of what I always wished I was, and that is genuine. I have to admit I haven't always been true to myself and to others, but it seems to me that ol' Fischer was just himself and nothing else. When he was sad, it was because he felt sad about something in his life. And if he felt good, it was because something happened to him that made him feel that way. I like that and I try to be as authentic as possible because Wildman Fischer was authentic. This article changed my perspective of him.

Metal, baby.

Anyone who digs them some metal needs to get the new Melechesh album, "Emissaries", which came out in the U.S. on Tuesday.  Israeli black metal,  one of the best black metal bands ever.

I mostly listen to stuff from the '80s, I graduated from high school in '82, and I will forever love that music.  Hair metal, new wave, heavy metal, hard rock, pop, you name it.  I also like some classic stuff, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Nazareth, April Wine, etc.  I like some J.S. Bach once in a while too, that's guy was just unbelievable.

Favorite bands, in no particular order:

Dokken
Van Halen
Pat Benatar
Ozzy Osbourne
Kim Wilde
Chicago
Aldo Nova
Cinderella
Loverboy
Great White
White Lion
Whitesnake
Def Leppard
REO Speedwagon
John Cougar
Rick Springfield

i got a huge record collection!  Virtually every big rock band is in my collection.  My favorites would be Grunge or 80s metal(you have to love Megadeth).

you can just view my music playlist, i have a wide variety in taste. I used to be a punk then in high school heavy metal - but i guess i got so burned out on all that music that i can't even hardly listen to metallica or even classic stuff like zeppelin anymore. But i still like some old punk (like the smiths)

Also the MUMMIES!!!! Here's a clip of the Mummies doing "You Got to Fight to Live on the Planet of the Apes"! Amazing.

So that's who does this song! Great driving song!

I have it on one of my mix tapes of stuff from Little Steven's radio show. Think it's mixed in with some Groucho Marx sound clips and a salute to Memphis DJ Dewey Phillips - "Get off the turntables Mabel! You're too old to be goin' 'round with musicians!" Just proves that radio DJs now really really suck compared to people like that.

I've been looking into "krautrock" recently and I really like Amon Düül II and Can.  I think Popol Vuh are lumped into this category sometimes and I really love them.  Neu! are pretty cool, too.  Anyone know of any other good early 70's German rock groups?
