What Are The 3 Main Reasons You Watch Films?

Lot of good choices to vote for. I watch so many types of movies it's hard answer a question like this.  My head hurts.

I should add that there is a glaring omission in the choices.  While it might not get many votes, that could be for reasons beyond "the truth."  The missing possibility is:

"Boobies"

I agree.
Were it not for T&A, I never would've sat through La Belle Noiseuse, or Hear My song, or Fellini's Casanova, or Altered States, or El Topo.

Be it the high-brow or the low-brow, I probably never would've developed an appreciation for cinema of any kind.

Boobies, Bottoms and furry, lodge and dam building aquadent North American rodents would be 3 good reasons for viewing cheap cinema. Also it is a reassurance to all of us that anyone can make, act and sell a movie with nothing more than a 8mm camera and some drunken friends.

I watch to be entertained, amused, and sometimes even to learn a little bit, but mainly just to forget about the day to day problems of day to day life. I also enjoy seeing a good pair of boobies now and then.

The most important things for me are character and story.  If a film has some characters that I care about, or at least find sympathetic, then I'm okay with it.  If it surrounds those characters with some interesting stuff going on, that's fantastic.

      I like to watch comedies, I like laughs. There are certain actors and actresses that I will watch most of their movies because most of the time I won't be disappointed. And sorry to say....being a girl, I have no interest in boobies.
