It's fully expected that some of the stuff we rent, borrow or see on TV is gonna suck, but what films have you gone to see, with high hopes, in the theater, only to be subjected to something horrible?

For me I'd pick:

Highlander 2
Leonard part 6
Howard the Duck
Battlefield Earth
The Order

EDIT: How could I forget Battlefield Earth? Added that and The Order.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Hmmm...

Bats
I saw this in the theater to review it.  Even going in knowing what I would encounter it was not good.

Showgirls
Despite how bad it is, our group had a fun time.  We all went after getting pretty well snookered (can't remember who was driving, but they were sober).  We spent half of the film screaming stuff at the screen, ala "Rocky Horror."  That and laughing at the one guy in the audience who decided to go to the bathroom right after the sex scene in the pool.

Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend
I was only twelve and have always loved dinosaurs.  This still annoyed me.

The Order is the worst movie I've ever seen in a movie theater. I prefer my sleeping pills in bottle form, not big movie screen form.

I don't do to many "big screen" flix, seeing how we have a very small cinema here and my screen at home is not much smaller. LOL. I normally read reviews or ask people leaving the film if it was any good or not, but a bubby of mine just HAD to see Larry The Cable Guy, Health Inspector ... which I had no desire to see, so he paid, it's was stupid and I dozed through parts of it.

I quite liked Baby. Then again, I was about 6 when I saw it... Now for the one and only crapfest I paid to see in a theatre: Date Movie.

Even though I was only 8 when my dad took me and some friends to see this , this movie still made me want to punch the filmmakers.

I would have to say Americas "Godzillia" I was about 13 and still knew it sucked. I was like "Why did he have babies when he King Of the Monsters?" to my mom. People where walking out.  A good runner up is the 2 Matrix film and that Final Fantasty flim.

Right now I'll say "Ginozilla." Since it was boring AND insulting.

As well as "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Man I was just embarresed.
