Apparently, based on a law that is in the works, sweeping changes could be made the Canadian copyright laws.  I could not find the text of the proposed law(s), but the articles mention that recording a movie or show or ripping a CD (legitimately purchased) to MP3 would become infringement.  If that is true, it would be likely that review websites hosted in Canada or created by Canadians would be affected as well.

We don't have fair use laws in the UK and generally it doesn't affect us, although we are all technically law breakers now...  :hatred:

Proud NOT to be a Canadian. I'll rip, burn, copy, fry, sautee anything I want. If I paid for it, then I'm free to do as I please with it.

As a Canadian, I'll oppose that to my dying day. Besides it'll make every person in Canada practically a law-breaker.
