Would you all be so kind as to run down a list for me? im trying to find flicks that i havent seen and these are my favorite kind. im not looking for any inparticular though, i dont want to narrow down the type to much cause i might miss out on something. this includes satanism, outerspace, toxic waste ect. or some other way the creature comes about. this may be tough because ive seen alot but i dont think ive seen them all. thanks - Joe

Just a couple off the top of my head, The Kindred and The Outing (about an evil genie in a museum).

RETURN of the ALIEN'S DEADLY SPAWN is  a GREAT early 80's movie! Look at JPicketIII 's avatar-thats the cool monster.A bloody mess of a movie!
EVIL SPAWN is also a great ultra low budget favorite of mine....a bug monster, blood, nudity, and a cameo by John Carridine! Watch for the scene where the creepy chick blows her own brains out.And a great nude swimming pool scene with a very hot looking girl.

Hmmmm.... lemme see here.... how about:
Blue Monkey (killer bug flick with no blue monkeys in sight), My Science Project (some nerdy kids create a time tunnel and end up battling various creatures from prehistory including a T-Rex), Cellar Dweller (not a biopic about yours truly but a goofy monster flick starring Yvonne de Carlo and filmed by John Carl Buechler), Rawhead Rex (kind of a lousy monster, but the movie does have a few endearing scenes), and uh.... hmm..... how about "Monster in the Closet?"

A short list of (mostly) 80s 'monster' movies....

Biohazard (very bad)
Biohazard II (even worse)
Breeders* (very bad)
Dark Universe (low-budget remake of Forbidden World)
Creature AKA Titan Find (great Planet of the Vampires/Alien knock-off w/ Klaus Kinski)
Creepozoids/Hybrid (funny bad; see review here)
Forbidden World (sequel to Galaxy of Terror)
Galaxy of Terror (Corman Alien knock-off bad)
Inseminoid AKA Horror Planet (so bad it's good)
Star Crystal (OMG! bad)
The Terror Within (not so bad)
The Terror Within II (funny bad)

* There are two movies with this name, sadly both are about the same.

Oh jeez! The Hidden rules!
As for "Critters 3" and "Critters 4," I didn't think they were THAT bad, though the franchise should've ended at "The Main Course."

From Beyond, one of the lesser known HP Lovecraft movies.

As a monster movie, Critters 4 just seemed to rehash the wanting to use aliens as bioweapons out of Alienswithout athe budget, cast, etc...and was one of the first "In Space" movies.

A pretty much forgotton horror movie from 1982, and a great one is EVIL SPEAK.Clint Howard(the Kid in GENTLE BEN,and star in ROCK and ROLL HIGH SCHOOL) is a computer geek in a military school. Of course all his school chums f#ck with him 24-7,and so he gets his revenge buy conjuring up Satan via his computer(!),and aided by an army af demonic wild pigs(!!!) reeks havok on the miserable fools who taunted him. And,for good measure,he floats around in the air with a broadsword, doing what comes unnaturally.Super cool movie !

Deep Space - directed by Fred Olen Ray. Starring Charles Napier, Ann Turkel, Bo Svenson, and a critter costume that rips off is heavily influence by the critter from Alien. Full of cliches, but that's not a mark against it.

And I wrote the review of it!  Weeee.  Definetly worth seeing.  Oh, and do you wish to count Werewolves?  If so, add on the Howling, the Thing, and An American Werewolf in London - all from 1981 if memory serves.
