I dont know about you guys, but i'm super psyked for Troma's "Poultrygeist" and Campbell's new flik "My name is Bruce". There are sooooo many good fliks comming out this year, (300, spiderman 3, fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer, possibly sin city 2, ect. ect.) but i thought i should bring these 2 up since they are the 2 b movies to be released. OOOOOOOO I cant wait!

I am actually looking forward to "Poultrygeist," something that I could not say about "Citizen Toxie."  It looks like classic Troma silliness.

Ah, and the website:

I don't really care for those Troma movies.  To me they fall into that "trying to be bad on purpose but just ending up lame and not funny" category.  As far as Bruce is concerned,  it might be good, but I hope he isn't directing it.  I was extremely disappointed in "Man With the Screaming Brain."  We'll see.

I love Troma! Troma rocks! Lloyd Kaufman is one of my various gods! (I tend to be a polytheist when it comes to b-film celebs.) If I seem unusually happy, its because I just found out I'm going to redbank tomorrow to visit Jay and Silent Bob's secret stash!Yaaaaaaaaay! Smile TeddyR  Wink Thumbup BounceGiggle

I actually enjoyed Citizen Toxie.

There are a few other B-movies I'm looking forward to (assuming they get released this year):

Unearthed:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475417/

It's directed by Matthew Leutwyler, the guy who directed Dead and Breakfast.  It sounds amusing...

I'd also like to see Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat and Return to Sleepaway Camp finally see the light of day.  I don't care how much those two could possibly suck, I still want to see them.

Apart from that, I can't think of much else.

I normally can't bring myself to watch Troma stuff either... but for some reason, I remain curious about the "Toxic Avenger" series... so I may very well put my brain through the mulcher on those...  Any body remember when they made a cartoon based on the "toxie" character?
