Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter

Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat. The 2 greatest fighting games of all. The ones that we would spend time on at 7 11 or in our basement playing against our friends. Questions would come up. "Who would win; Sub Zero or scorpion?" "Who would win, Ken, or Ryu?" Well, my question is, Who would win, the cast of S.F., or the cast of M.K.? What if they had a BIG tounoment and combined to fend off against one another?

I thought this would be kinda kool. What happens is, A charecter from M.K. Is picked out and posted by someone, and then they pick someone from S.F. THEN whoever posts next decides the outcome of the battle, and gives a valid reason why. Then that person picks the next challenger to fight whoever won, and posts it. Ill start it off.


LU KANG (m.k.) vs. RYU (s.f.).

Chun Li VS Sonya Blade.

Chun Li.  Most of Sonya's special attacks are ground based and it would be hard to get a hold of Chun.

Blanka Vs.  Raiden

Raiden would win. It's tough to beat a guy who is wearing a lampshade on his head.


Raiden VS Vega

Although Vega's facemask/claw would conduct electricity, it wouldn't account for the rest of his body.

Balrog vs Jax

Balrog, because Michael Clarke Duncan plays him in the new movie.  Plus, Jax's metal plated arms not-withstanding, Balrog was always a better fighter.

Johnny Cage vs. E. Honda.

I see several of us missed the part where KY established that you're supposed to make your match selection using the winner of the prior poster's match.

Anyway, E.Honda would squash Johnny Cage. Cage is a sucker punching little b***h whose only move is the atomic nutcracker. With all of Edmund's stomach and leg fat, I don't think Johnny could reach his hand in there and effectively deny the Yokozuna of Japanese bath house brawling from siring future generations. Cage would give it a shot and Honda would just clamp his thighs and hundred hand slap Mr. Hollywood's shades through the back of his own swollen head.

E.Honda vs. Bo Rai Cho

Have to go with Honda on that one.   Lots of drunken twists and stumbles, and then a big squeeze leading to a thousand hand slap.

E Honda versus Shang Tsung (original MK version of Shang Tsung -- old, floating, footless, morphing, and throwing hella fireballs)

Shang would topple E. Honda due to the fact he can turn into any of the one million or so fighters we're dealing with in this expanded fightin' universe. 

Shang vs M. Bison

I'd have to go with Shang Tsung on that one.  Even if it isn't the shape shifting Shang: He has more experience, more powers, and the MK fighters are much more violent then the Street Fighters.

(I'll admit I've followed MK much more closely than Street Fighter)

Quan Chi vs Akuma

Shang would topple E. Honda due to the fact he can turn into any of the one million or so fighters we're dealing with in this expanded fightin' universe. 

Shang vs M. Bison

Well, by THAT logic, hes undefeatable.

Akuma would win.  Chi is possibly the better fighter, but Akuma is stronger.
