....on the Space channel. It was Dawn (remake), Land, and Diary Of The Dead. I didn't watch Dawn, well I saw bits of it here and there, for some reason I just can NOT get into this one. I've made a few attempts at watching it, but, I don't know, it's severely lacking in....something I can't quite put my finger on. I thoroughly enjoyed Land though, which surprised the hell out of me because I actively avoid modern horror. But I thought Romero did a very good job on this one. Having Asia Argento in it didn't hurt either. I only made it about halfway through Diary and I went to bed. It was kind of unpleasent in a weird (bad) way. The whole shakey cam thing was annoying as it usually is - (though I did like that "clown" scene at the little kid's b-day party) - and I thought Romero was better than that. Once I thought he'd redeemed himself with Land...I thought he might be onto something, but alas, Diary was just not a good idea at all. So, Dawn remake gets a big  Thumbdown, Land gets a big  Thumbup, and Diary can suck it.

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
