Gimme a break, these movies are better then 99% of the s**t there making now.

Not really, there's just so little content to them. It's not even like they're movies to me, but rather like some people sat down and thought up the most torturous things that can be filmed for maximum shock value, and connected them with a paper-thin story, if you can even call it that. I can't really think of much that ISN'T better. .

As far as I'm concerned, any movie(s) that bring down the standards that far can be done without. It just makes the entire business lazy.

The worst part is that kids are watching these not because it's a good movie of is entertaining, but because it's the thing to do, like it's some kind of right-of-passage, peer pressure thing. I have a teenage son, and he and several of his friends admit to watching them because everyone else did, and not perticularly liking them, and idiots chastizing them for it, just stupid kid games. It's kinda like Napolean Dynamite, people watched it so they would get all the inside jokes and weird quotes other people were making. All in all it's widely considered a crappy flick by many, probably by most.

It's funny...I got a brand new DVD of Saw III as a present right as it hit home video, and I have yet to watch it.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

As long as they keep making money, they'll keep making Saw movies.

But a lot of people are thinking that the whole so called torture-porn craze has ended with Hostel Part 2 bombing like they're no tomorrow in addition to the more recent Captivity tanking something fierce as well.

Lots of analysts are saying that if Saw 4 doesn't turn in big numbers, then this recent fad in horror films is completely done with.

A friend of mine lent the movie Turistas today that I'm going to watch sometime this weekend. He said that "it's much better than Hostel" which I thought was pretty good up until the 3rd act.  But Turistas is supposed to be  fairly decent from the reviews I've read.

I couldn't stand the 1st Saw, I thought the 2nd one was one of the most poorly acted movies that I've ever seen and I'm not even bothering with the 3rd or 4th ones.

Boy, put me in the minority on this one.  I loved SAW for one simple reason - I didn't see the end coming!  The conclusion of the film hit me like a solid roundhouse to the chin, and I was hooked!

Of course, neither of the sequels was as good as the first one, and I am sure Hollywood will run it into the ground like they do everything else . . .

but the first SAW movie was brilliant, in my opinion, and the other two were certainly watchable.

All I ask of a movie is . . .  entertain me!

What I spoke of is more appropriate for 2 & 3, saw 1 did have it's moments, but the overall scope of the movie IMO was not that interesting. What I did like was the fact that in the first one, especially the 1st half, reminded me of an infocom game.

Thats absolutely right. I would have never watched saw 2 and 3 if my friends hadn't shown it during one of our poker games.(this was a couple years ago I'm going to college now). Man I cant believe they actually thought those were good movies. The only thing that stops those movies from being completely boring is the gore. The only reason they throw it in there is for shock value.

Bloody-Disgusting, has just confirmed through multiple sources that David Hackl, the production designer on Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV and second unit director on Saw II and Saw IV has OFFICIALLY been attached to helm both Lionsgate's Saw V and Saw VI, assuming a hole doesn't form in the Earth and suck the franchise in with it. Will Jigsaw return? I'm sure he will. But this news comes so early don't expect much more until we see how well Saw IV does, which Hackl was once in the running to direct.

At this pace they'll milky more money out of a puppet than they did Chucky. I'm happy to say it won't be my money their milking ... wait to I smell direct to video? Yes I believe that the odor I smell. It might hit the theaters, but I doubt if it does it'll be there long.

I'm sure it will turn out the Jigsaw was just a pawn in someone else's bigger plot, and was forced to play the part he did. You heard it here first folks, I just saved everyone $7.50 and 2 hours of their life. Lol. ..
