Zap's pic on the "There's an animal in my room" thread made me wonder if the episode of Inside the Closet was on Youtube.

It is!

For those of you who don't know, Inside the Closet is one of the freakiest episodes from the old TV show Tales From the Darkside.
If you've never seen it, you've definitely gotta check it out.
The video is in 2 parts, each one about 10 minutes long.
And it was directed by Tom Savini.

The twist ending is great.   Smile
What did you think?

It's stupid, waaay too abrupt!

But looks like an interesting backstory, this is one of the eps that give me the feeling that this shoulda' been a 1-hour series! Only a few episodes really worked in the 20 minutes they were on (some didn't work at all).

Not to say there aren't those that do work in such a short format, the train one and Maye Dusa for instance!

It was pretty good, but, if she would of kept her foot on top of the bed and under the covers she'd still be alive.  Buggedout

I was disappointed when the thing finally showed up.  It seemed rushed, like they wanted to do more build-up but ran out of time.

It really is sad no one makes anthology horror TV shows like Monsters or Tales From The Darkside any more. I love that stuff!

I switched the old links to the new Youtube boxes so you don't have to leave the forum to view them.

Hopefully I'll see the episode on tv.  I just started watching this show today on Sci-Fi Channel.  I think they have a marathon on Friday's.  I barely remember this and Monsters, but I was very young when they were on.
