March 19th, "Leprechaun 3," "Godzilla 2000," and all three "Creature from the Black Lagoon" movies in HD.  Funny thing, I should be posting my own "Leprechaun 3" review on the 18th.

IT’S NOT EASY BEING GREEN…

 WHEN VOOM MONSTERS HD UNVEILS

“GREEN SCREAM MARATHON” ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY

The luck of the Irish runs out for all God-fearing folk when VOOM Monsters HD, the first and only high-definition television channel devoted to the monster and creature-feature genre, broadcasts its “Green Scream Marathon” on March 19.  Expect a pot of internal organs at the end of a screaming green rainbow this Saint Patrick’s Day when a cornucopia of green creatures crashes your living room to enjoy a few pints…of blood!!

Monday March 19 at 6:45 AM and 1:15 AM-

LEPRECHAUN 3

The third time is the lucky charm for this McCult favorite.  Do an early top-of-the-morning jig with four-foot tall Warwick Davis as he river-dances his way through Las Vegas causing premature mortem to casino goers in LEPRECHAUN 3.  The green midget is once again seeking damages for monetary losses as he administers his ultra-violent poetic justice to the parties in question. Enjoy the green midget of mayhem in ultra impressive HD but for you and your loved ones’ sake, keep you hands off his gold.

Monday March 19 at 8:30 AM and 3 AM-

GODZILLA 2000

Remember that pet lizard, snake, frog, or turtle you had as a youngster?  Well one of them got real big and started terrorizing cities, particularly Asian ones, after his tenure as your tanked comrade.  GODZILLA makes his return to the forefront of urban re-planning as he struts his heavy stuff through the coastal Japanese city of Shinjuku.  The green mammoth’s city stomping is interrupted by a 6,000 year old alien life form aroused from its deep sleep. Then the feud between these two reptilian nightmares escalates into a good ol’ St. Patty’s Day brawl.

Monday March 19 at 8:30 PM-

CREATURE FEATURE TRILOGY

Wet your whistle, actually totally emerge it in a swamp of green guck, with three classics that pioneered the art of under-water camera work.  The CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON movies with Gill-Man suit sporting legend Ricou Browning provide a throw-back to the early days of aquatic horror.  Enjoy all three films in the series (CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, REVENGE OF THE CREATURE and CREATURE WALKS AMONG US) and please, keep out of the water.

Ah, I enjoyed Godzilla 2000.  I only wish Orga had come into the film a hell of a lot sooner.
