Bad Christmas Movies

Vaguely connected to this thread, and for those who may be interested, you can scoot by Walgreens and pickup a DVD with "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" and "Santa Claus" (1959) with other related Christmas tidbits for only TWO BUCKS!!!  Beats paying Amazon $13.95 or whatever they are charging for the K. Gordon Murray film, though I'm hopeful the more expensive version would be a better copy, but this one doesn't look bad from what I saw.

Jingle All the Way is probably the worst Christmas movie I've ever seen, and for some reason I can't stop myself from watching it every time it comes on TV, it's horrible, but great at the same time... I think it's Arnold that does it for me... that must be it.

Silent Night Deadly Night is great.. But the sequel is even better as a piece of cheese. How can you not love the "Garbage day!!" bit. Best scene ever!!

Oh man, SNDN2 is so quotable! I'll never forget lines like "Red car.... GOOD POINT!" and "f**k off, Doc!"

SANTA CLAUS: THE MOVIE (1985)

Kris Kringle gets the full high-tech overblown Superman-style treatment (from SUPERMAN producer Ilya Salkind, who else?) with an all-star cast featuring Dudley Moore, John Lithgow, Burgess Meredith, and the real Big Lebowski himself David Huddleson as the jolly ol' elf. Featuring STAR WARS-style sleigh rides and reindeer puppets.

Directed by Jeannot Szwarc of JAWS 2 fame.

Heh, my Dad's in that movie! You know the bit where John Lithgow flies out the window? My Dad's the inspector, he'w wearing the fedora and has a mustache!

Loved the Jack Frost Killer Snowman movies...the other one though was Bad Santa.  Which was probably more twisted then the Jack Frost movies.
