Well here in glorious Freakin' Far Western Kentucky (FFWK) it's been a beautiful day ... the weather man predicted rain, and not a drop fell. The sun shown all day and it was a balmy 72F in other words it was near perfect! The faint oder of fertilizer filled the air and constant hum of herds of John Deere's roaming about with the delicate sound of thundering Harley's awakened from a long winters store.

Now if it would just stay that way ....

How was your day?

Make sure you read this with the voice of Julia Child......It was a beautiful 74 degrees and sunny as usual, then later in the day the clouds came in with a slight breeze bringing the light scent of barbecues wafting into our yard. What a pleasant day to work in our lovely garden.........Don't I sound just soooooo snooty?   TeddyR

Turned out pretty darn nice here, I think about 60F.  Little Andy was up at 0545 and I had errands to run in the late morning.  Played paintball from about noon until 4 and that was a blast as always.  I am getting back some of my groove for it.  It was a good day to be outside.

I am hoping we do not get the rain they said we might tomorrow (things were still drying out today) so that we can take the kids to a nearby park.  They were enjoying being outside today, though both have colds (Jenna's is worse).

We're hitteing the high 60s during the day, and the lows are bottoming out in the 40s rather than the 20 and 30s now. So it's getting pretty, probably have to start mowing the lawn in two weeks.

Rain was forecast for the weekend, there was a light drizzle yesterday morning but elsewise nothing. About time to open the windows in the afternoons and evenings.

After I get my car situation sorted out, hopefully this week, may have to try out my new grill to celebrate. The weather's just right.

Maybe I'll get lucky like last year and a lot the spring thundershowers will run north of me again, like they are riding the TN/AL stateline. Some pretty nights watching the lightning in the northern sky.

Just need to get back to going to bed earlier so I can be awake for the nice daytime weather.

 Drink Hi Cheeze.

Strange for Africa really: cold in the mornings (I get up around 05h00) and warm to hot by 11h00. Light rain most days before sundown, quite warm in the evenings. If you live in a garden flat like I do, you sometimes get some ugly buggers wanting to share your bed and body heat ~ sometimes some snakes even, and no Sam Jackson to assist here.  TeddyR

In winter we have cold beginnings and warm mornings ~ by 16h00 that evening, you feel like your skin has gone AWOL, you are so cold.

Summer now ~ warm greetings to all.

I live in Roanoke, VA and it got up in the low 60's today.  A little cloudy but extremely nice. But it's supposed to get in the mid to upper 70's over the next couple of days before cooling back to normal temp's around Friday (mid 50's).

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Autumn just started, so weather is starting to get a little cooler.  But the days have still been beautiful.  So basic pattern is in the morning its a bit cool, during the day it's pretty perfect [about 27/26C] and at night it's cool again.

I personally love it.  We just had a long weekend in which I had two bbqs and alot of drinking, and the weather was great for all of it.

But Winter is a-coming... darnit...
