Surprising they chose a part-time guy like Lesnar to do this but perhaps Taker is finally ready to retire once and for all. Can you imagine the boost CM Punk would have had last year had he ended the streak instead? Would he even be gone right now?

Agreed.  Personally, I think the streak should have ended against Shawn Michaels when they fought a few years ago. It would have been better to give that win to a long time star.

Hopefully yes but then, I felt that way about Dolph Ziggler last year. Now he's hardly even used on Raw anymore. Alberto Del Rio isn't used as much either...nor the Miz. Lot of guys getting lost in the shuffle these days. Think having just one world title actually takes some focus away from some talent...

The Undertaker has been a favourite for a long time. Feels like the end of an era with what went down at Wrestlemania.

And now more guys are getting called up from NXT.  Paige and Rusev just debuted, soon Rose and Dallas.

One good thing that Russo and Ferrara did in the '90s was actually find time to spotlight lower card and mid card guys.  Hell, even Taka Michinoku and Funaki had a spot on tv.  And there was less time back then, it was only two hours.   Question

Yeah so many guys aren't getting used nowadays...turning guys babyface seems the kiss of death for some of them in terms of them getting something to do. Rumors are that Ziggler and Miz were going to form some sort of heel faction...not sure how that would go down though. Apparently Miz is making another film now. Damien Sandow has become a jobber (not that there's anything wrong with enhancement guys but Sandow shouldn't be one) now apparently...such a waste. Even Sheamus seems to be getting lost in the shuffle a bit.

I hope El Generico/Sami Zayn makes it up to the main roster.

Here's a young Damien Sandow jobbing to Stevie Richards on Heat back in '02.
