Yup.

and if my memory serves me - the (blue) Andre the Giant figure was a bit skinny... or way too small right?

Yes but it was based on a bit younger, slightly smaller Andre too but yeah  even then, he was still too small. The Bundy figure looked like he weighed more and probably did.

WWF Attitude.
WWE Attitude Tribute

My cousin had the 100% set of the rubber LJN WWF wrestling figures and ring. I was so jealous.

I remember the Don Muraco (black shirt) figure crystal clear. I always used him to fight his Hogan.

I also remember Corporal Kirchner and Hillbilly Jim figures very clear.

80's toys = WIN

Sadly I didn't have many of the '80s line.  Had quite a few of the '90s ones though.

The 90s figures were smaller as I recall but had far more articulation. I was a bit too old by that point to be collecting toys though. When I was little, I remember thinking the 80s Remco AWA figures looked awesome. Of course, they were smaller than the LJN rubber figures but had way more articulation even if they didn't always look quite right. I recall they were expensive though, believe they were sold in 2-packs, and my parents really did not want to spend the dollars on these for me as a kid.

Sadly, I was a bit too young in the '80s to really have too many toys.  I had a few of whatever was released in the very late '80s.  I had some of the LJN rubber figures though, like Macho Man, Ted DiBiase and Hillbilly Jim.

Seeing Rusev and Lana recently slightly reminded me of the classic Russian villains of wrestling. "Soon you will feel the wrath of Russia!"...apparently Nikita Koloff played in-character even out of the ring during that time...

Georgia Championship Wrestling was a real breeding ground for quality talent in the late 70s, early 80s...

Mid-Atlantic (also affiliated with the NWA) was also full of talent in this era...

I swear, the Big Gold Belt is cursed, what with so many guys winning it and getting injured afterwards. Remember last year around this time, Ziggler got that nasty concussion after cashing in his MITB shot ... Edge, Taker, and others as well.

I wonder will they just give the title to Kane at Payback? That would kind of suck. I think they should do a huge tournament and have the final match occur at Payback. Perhaps they'll just leave it on Bryan although that really doesn't make a whole lot of sense given the ongoing storyline...

That said, I do feel Kane is kind of underrated and I wouldn't mind him actually winning and holding the title for a brief period until Bryan returns..preferably though he earns it.

Wrestling fans of the past will recall the enhancement guys or "jobbers" who got decimated on most TV matches back in the day during the 80s & 90s (and honestly even before that)...pretty much a whole's who of these guys in these videos...although there's some key memorable guys missing (Tom "Rocky" Stone, "Leaping" Lanny Poffo, Reno Riggins, Barry Hardy, Barry O). Some of these guys were actually more talented than the guys they put over (Barry Horowitz, Steve Lombardi, S.D. Jones, Scott Casey) others had very little talent whatsoever (I won't name anyone here)...some were guys winding down their career (Buddy Rose, Black Bart, Salvatore Bellomo), most just wanted a payday no doubt...
