THE CHICAGO LATINO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL boasts four Chicago features among the lineup of 59 features and 31 shorts at its 23rd annual fest, April 13-25.

Ricardo ("Night Fangs") Islas' "Lockout" stars Kris Desautels as a man who loses his job and moves his family to a farmhouse in rural Wisconsin, where they encounter an horrific mystery. Featuring Cyn Dulay and Claire Davenport. Islas produced with Dulay and Mark Harris ("Holla If You Hear Me") through Islas' Alpha Studios. Salomón Carmona is executive producer. "Lockout" is due for DVD release June 26 from Polychrome Pictures through an output deal with Warner Bros.

Jaime ("Dusk") Mariscal's second feature "Welcome Back To Barrio" follows a college kid (Ramses Jimenez) who returns to his old neighborhood and gets reeled into a gang conflict.  With Tony Ramirez, Carmen Cenko and Phil Camacho. David J. Miller of Mindlight Films produced and co-wrote with Mariscal. April 15 at 4 p.m. and April 17 at 10 p.m. at Facets Multi-Media, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave.

Juan ("Once Upon A Time In The Hood") Frausto's "Get Pony Boy" also follows an exile returning to his old haunts, this time a former prison inmate (Rafael Ochoa of Milwaukee rappers Kinto Sol) who finds his friends disappearing mysteriously. With Siboney Lo, Manuel Garcia and Zanora Rivera. April 14 at 3:30 p.m. and April 21 at 4 p.m. at Facets.

Kevin Pittman shot "Barrio" and "Pony Boy."

Dalia Tapia's debut feature "In Search of Leti" follows a ten-year-old Mexican girl left behind when her parents migrate to Chicago, then conflicted as they return retrieve her. Starring Tatiana Tien, Carmen Cenko and Juan Manuel. Tapia produced and directed, and she wrote the script with AD Tadeo Garcia. Meena Singh shot. Screening at multiple venues April 13-April 22.
