I don't know if it's just one guy or a bunch of people doing this, but if you're ever in Times Square, there's a guy who will sell (I think) 257 sex positions for $1 (I s**t you not).

Go down to 42nd Street and you can try most of them for about the same amount.

Be sure to wash up afterwards.

Come & Cornhole!

I pass a sign for a business closer to town that has that name. Cornhole is a sort of bean bag toss game locally (?) popular, but I'm not sure why it's called that. I have to laugh when I see that.

Two elderly ladies run a hairdressers in Lossiemouth called the Scissor Sisterz. I have no idea if they have any idea what that means or not, but they've been there for at least as long as I have lived in the town.

If they were young and hot, A Lot of men would go there.

The other day, Kristi was visiting me on camp, and we went to the mess. I was waiting outside while she went to the toilet, and the hairdresser asked me if I was waiting on her. I've been shaving my head for a few years now. What exactly did she think I would want from her?

It closed down about a decade ago.

So many Chinese restaurants have weird pun names that surely must elude some foreign-born folks who work there. It's like the name comes as part of some package deal.

"What does 'wok and roll' mean?"

"Trust me, Chang, your customers will think it's funny."

"Oh, OK..."

We have some fun restaurant names in Texas:

Rib Crib  and Cotton Patch come to mind.

I knew Glasgow used to have a Star Wars themed bar, although I didn't know about the Buck Rodgers one.

Speaking of theme pubs, this is my favourite one in Aberdeen. It has a Dracula theme.

Theres a couple cryotherapy places here in Boston. They put you in a Star trek type tube and turn the temp down to like -200. This is supposed to help you in some way

I got this just down the street from where I live.

I guess one has to stand out because of competition? Chiropractic offices here in Germany are more, well, discreet. When choosing a chiropractor it's all about word of mouth, reputation and tradition. I suspect a Jurassic Park theme would scare off people here as it gives the impression they are not taking their job seriously. But hey, if a circus is what it takes to lure people then why not  TeddyR

We don't have weird businesses in my area. We once had an 'American Garage' car store in the early 2000s, specialized in american car parts, american car sales and whatnot. Which was certainly unusual and kind of risky for having in a small german town (pop. 13000). They abandoned shop in the mid-2000s. The building is still there just rotting away.

The only themed bars/pubs we have next town are Irish. Not sure how authentic they actually are but Germans don't care as long as they can get drunk.
