I'm not trying to rush anyone with the first one, but it appears we're close to the 75% mark, or in most movies' cases, the climax.  I imagine the follow-up/conclusion will be coming soon after and thereby leading us to the natural sequel, which may or may not have a darn thing to do with the first one :)   (Maybe the main character is cousins with one of the characters from part 1 in Grease 2 style.)

So, my question to my fellow readers/writers is, when the time comes, what are some suggestions for setting, characters, plot, theme, etc.,?  Input is greatly appreciated.  I was thinking it might be cool to do some specific genre type, for example, a murder mystery, a guy and his monkey drama, an 80s orphan in a sitcom, a medeval story, a furniture horror flick, or a buddy cop, a soap opera, etc.,  Doesn't have to be any that I mentioned, but we should try something a little different maybe.

So, what ideas do you have?

Well.........after we sell the script to Tarantino and divi-up the cash I was thinking bikers should be involved in the next story.

If Tarantino/Rodriquez had the script to SUPER PORCUPINE OMELET then he would have had something to fill in the gaps to DEATH PROOF, but that's all water under the bridge now. He'll still being to use our script for another film.

I was thinking we could do like a DESTROY ALL MONSTERS kind of thing, with monsters from various B-movies, like Pumpkinhead, The Creeper, maybe some critters from the Sci Fi Channel, like The Basilisk or Frankenfish.

Just my two cents.

Yep, you just have to start something and see how it turns out.

GODZILLA JOINS THE HELLS ANGELS....................ok maybe not.

Hmmm...maybe the quesiton should be...what premise do we wanna start with?  (that way anyone can still go in any direction they want).  I like the monster-hunter idea too.  Let the thoughts flow though - great way to get inspiration.

Here's one possibility: a group of time traveling monster hunters from the future get stranded in 1979 in rural Indiana or something...ok maybe not.

Any other ideas?

Here's an idea, we summarize new developments at the bottom of our posts. Even for a B-Flick there are missing-reel-wide plotholes a plenty (I notice my last chapter was basically skipped, EG Brando escaping, Odinn7 finding Brando, Odinn7 killing Ash, Bunji and co. finding Meanrd with the heroes, Menard chased away by Aaron, Donald and Wiki chasing Odinn7...)

I just started IBF2 not long ago. No specific plot yet, but so far we've got an Indiana Jones-type with an old book being chased out of a pyramid by monsters and somebody locked up in a padded room. I haven't really thought about much more than that, I'll leave that for you guys to decide. But it'd be cool if the book maybe contained an exiled Egyptian god, huh?

You could make it about a time traveler who alters history dramatically. For example killing hitler when hes a kid. Then when he gets back to his current time he finds out that he has screwed up the future imensely. For example the insects have taken over.

Another question, if Interactive B-Movie remains unedited after a few days, are we allowed to add another chapter? If so how long should be long anough?

I don't see why we can't continue both.  Continue the first one however you want, IMO.  I'm kinda getting spent on the first one, but I will post again when an idea hits me.  I was thinking of doing an ending for that one pretty soon.  I figure we can each do our own ending; I might do a "it was all a dream" ending or something equally silly as an example of a film studio running out of budget and rushing the ending to p**s-poorness :)

Anyway, I'm enjoying both - nice start on the 2nd one btw.
