VOOM Monsters HD Marks Unlucky Friday, April 13th With

The “Gruesome Twosome: Jason Voorhees” Double Feature

The 1980’s B-movie stars are aligned this Friday, April 13th, when VOOM Monsters HD, the first  high definition channel dedicated to the gore and creature-feature genres, unearths a double feature of summer camp’s most notorious hockey-mask sporting slasher, Jason Voorhees of FRIDAY THE 13th fame.  See the infamous hockey mask get introduced on the 25th anniversary of the release of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III . Then stay to enjoy the next film in the franchise, FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER with Corey Feldman as Crystal Lake’s only hope, along with some important earliest FX work by make-up legend Tom Savini, whose work is currently featured on big screens in GRINDHOUSE!!

Friday April 13 at 6:30 AM and 7:45 PM; FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III-

Twenty five years ago, part 3 of the famed FRIDAY THE 13TH series introduced the infamous hockey mask to Jason Voorhees’s less-than charming face. The 1982 cult favorite was originally shot in 3-D and cast Richard Brooker as Jason.  Camp counselors and half-dressed teenagers never had much luck with Jason’s machete but this time he went up against a more hard-nosed opponent; a biker gang.  The ensuing events ensure that Jason gets his fill of guts and bloodied leather jackets as he hacks up the gang on a serene farm somewhere secluded.

Friday April 13 at 8:15 AM and 9:30 PM; FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER-

Is this the end of the road for Jason?  FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER is one of famed make-up artist Tom Savini’s first movies as a master of the cinematic grotesque.  Part four follows Jason’s return to Crystal Lake after his presumed death in the previous film.  Nineteen Eighties’ heart throb Corey Feldman may be the only hope for finally sending the ex-camper/ drown victim to his absolute death.  Corey plays little Tommy Jarvis who is staying with his sister in the cabin next to six other teenagers at Crystal Lake.  Watch this slasher classic in HD clarity as each of the six teenagers expire at the hands of the most brutal woodsmen the great outdoors have ever seen!

I don't know if that is a good thing.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
