I mentioned in the thread about the update to "Plan 9 from Outer Space" that I would like to update a number of reviews.  The main reason for this is that around 2001 I think I hit the groove for writing that I have stayed with ever since.  Looking back on some of the earlier articles, they could probably be "tightened up" and made to read better.

Plus, quite honestly, many of the films are ones that any bad movie fan should see once.  If they are on the front page again, it makes it that much more likely that someone will read about them and maybe give the film a try.

I started writing down candidates for updating and found that the project will probably stretch out over three years or more.  My intent is to update one per month and I have more than thirty-six titles.

What do you all think of this list?

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Bad Taste
Carnosaur
Cyborg 2
The Dark Power
Dark Star
Death Race 2000
Dolemite
Drunken Wu Tang
Elves
Evil Dead 2
Fiend Without a Face
Fist of the North Star
For Your Height Only
The Giant Claw
Godzilla vs. Monster Zero
The Green Slime
Hawk the Slayer
Hell Comes to Frogtown
Howard the Duck
Howling II
Infra-Man
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
The Killer Shrews
The Manitou
Microwave Massacre
The Monster that Challenged the World
Petey Wheatstraw
Piranha II
Radioactive Dreams
Robot Monster
Rock 'n Roll Nightmare
Solarbabies
Starcrash
Star Crystal
Story of Ricky
The Stuff
The Terror of Tiny Town
Wizards
Zardoz

You know how we interviewed George from Troll 2?

Well, I had another look at that particular review of yours and it definitely needs an update.

Well, I had another look at that perticular review of yours and it definitely needs an update.

It is an older review (though newer than many of those listed above), but I do not feel that an update would be something I could do and provide a measurable improvement.  Maybe, far in the future, but that is likely to be more than three years out.

Will you be including more photos?  Both Godzilla vs. Monster Zero and Infra-man have gotten widescreen DVD releases since then, and probably other movies as well.

If I now have access to a better quality copy, I am redoing all portions of the review, including the screencaps (no more than eight, however).  Everything for "Plan 9 from Outer Space" was redone.

Me having a new version is pretty common, because I have been steadily buying DVDs to replace my VHS and LD copies.  I know how all those audio enthusiasts felt going from cassette to CD.
