Altered (2006)

I recently snagged Altered from Hastings for a discounted price (it was used). 

Basic plot: A group of friend capture an alien some years after a friend of theirs was killed by one.  They hold the thing in a compound built by one of the friends, named Wyatt, and plan to kill it, but Wyatt claims doing so would only make things worse. 

Not a bad movie, all in all.  I liked how the first half of the film was a steady stream of the situation getting worse and worse.  The last half of the film isn't as impressive, but still worth watching. 

Worth a rent, at least.
