In connection to the thread Best Fighting Game, I was thinking about the character(s) you pick that you can kick ass 9 ways to sunday. Are you a Ken/Ryu fan?  You like Dimitri? Or you just love Mai's titties?  Here's my characters I open a can of whoop ass to:

Virtua Fighter: Jackie, Lion, Lei

Soul Calibur 2 & 3: Kilik, Maxi, Talim, Link (GC)

Street Fighter Series: Anyone but Ken and Ryu

Mortal Kombat Series: Scorpion, Liu Kang, Kung Lao

Bloody Roar Series: Yugo, Bakuryu, Gado

Tekken:  Steve, Bryan, Lei

Dead or Alive series: Tina

Soul Blade: Sung Mina (I think) - the one with the huge polearm

Mortal Kombat: Sonya Blade

Mortal Kombat II: mutant sister (forget her name), Baraka, and Reptile

Mortal Kombat III: Jax, chick with the evil white hair, but especially Sektor - loved watching missles plow my opponent...even after they were dead.

Killer Instinct: Black Orchid

Tekken 3: The smelly old man (it was just funny to kick my friends' asses with that useless old guy)

and my favorite:

Street Fighter II: Chun Li, Chun Li, and Chun Li ....well...and Zangief

Chun Li was my ultimate fighter character, even though, statistically, she was 4th best in the game (Guile was rated the best, then Ryu, then Ken, then Chun Li).  Wow, I feel like doing some headstomps in the corner, combo into a whirlwind kick to some of my coworkers today eheheheeh :)

And I liked that Zangief was underrated - always loved when people laughed when I chose him until I do a belly splash combo into an irish whip, followed by a 360 piledriver.

Street Fighter: Blanka and Vega by favourite, but I was technically good with Ryu/Ken.

Tekken: Yoshimitsu and King, but I'm pretty good at the rest of them anyways [obsessive childhood]

Mortal Kombat: Sub Zero fan, but I was also a fan of the robots like Cyrax and Sektor.

Killer Instinct: the classic game.  Jago and Sabrewulf were my weapons of choice.

Killer Instinct:  TJ Combo
People who had the balls to step up to the KI arcade machine against me would get really p**sed when I broke out a 60+ hit finisher combo with almost no effort.

Mortal Kombat:  Johnny Cage
Most old school MK players never had respect for Cage.  But they quickly learned to respect him when I beat the tar out of them with this awesome character.

Tekken 3:  Hwoarang
Nothing like some good ol' Tae-Kwon-Do and multiple kicks to the face to rattle your opponent!

Street Fighter: Guile
The flat out best fighter in the Street Fighter series.   Thumbup
Cool hairdo!

Sadly no. If it wasn't on Atari 2600 or NES, I didn't get to play it. I lived in the middle of nowhere too, so we didn't have any arcade machines beyond Rampage and eventually Operation Wolf at the local honkytonk bar.
