The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

I seem to recall the house is inherited from the heroine's grandfather (Kim Darby starred with Jim Hutton as her husband).  William Demarest played the handyman who knows the secret and almost pays with his life for merely being suspected by the creatures as having told.  Do you remember the heroine being dragged with a cord down into the fireplace after too many sleeping pills?  ( She delays this by using a flashcube on a camera--the little creatures abhor light.)   A scary heartbreaker!
The fireplace and little monster men, which our heroine eventually joins (you hear her voice mixed with their's at the very end) is surely DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, a made-for-TV film that is well remembered and well loved.

Really liked this one as a kid. Scary film! You never see that playing on TV anymore and you can't rent it at Blockbuster either. There are some good made for TV movies that are not on DVD yet.
