Either he's dead or my watch has stopped!

Two films I expect the fans here will easily identify the titles of which elude me, both 1970s horror, haven't seen in 30 years:

One is the story of a Vietnam vet who comes home a kind-of vampire, spends alot of time rocking in a rocking chair, is distant and creepy to his family, and kills people to transfuse their blood into himself . . . ?

Second, a film crew is working in an old estate or castle making a movie, murders happen, a zombie like dead guy is resurrected, kills everybody left, rescues the corpse of a beautiful nude girl floating in a stream on the estate and at the very end carries her back down into his own grave presumably for company. . .?

The first is probably Dead of Night aka Death Dream.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

DEAD OF NIGHT . . . that's it.  Thank you Shadowfyre!  It's a good low budgetter, but I haven't seen it in a very long time (but still remember it well!)

Now if only someone can come up with the second flick!

I agree on the identity of the first film.

Your second film is, quite possibly, "The House of Seven Corpses."

The second one could also be "Ruby".  It has a projectionist crew showing movies (almost a film crew), an old mansion, and a woman dragged into a lake at the end by a skeleton.

EDIT:  Oh, I seem to have misread your description.  You said he carries her to his GRAVE not back into the water.  It probably isn't Ruby, then.

Just in case, here's a synopsis and screen caps to jog your memory:

Thank you all for your input.  The second film is HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES . . . I remember John Ireland was in it.

I'll third it as "The House of Seven Corpses." There are a couple of other well known names associated with the film: John Carradine and Faith Domerque.
