Is this put out by TGG?  And where did you find it?
Yes, and I found it in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.

Your Wal-Mart still carries VHS tapes, holy crap. The one here has not had a VHS tape in a few years.

If he bought NECROMANTIK on VHS at a Walmart, I want to go to THAT Walmart.  Our Walmart won't even stock FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES.  Yet they carry SUPERNATURAL.....

Sorry, THE FIFTH ELEMENT was on DVD from Wallmart.  I got the NEKROMANTIK VHS off ebay in a separate purchase.

Giant From the Unknown- Archaeologists find a big, ancient, murderin' Conquistador. Great fun! Unless you're a female, then it's household duties and monster fodder '50s style for you, that is.

Beast From Haunted Cave- Cool flick with a leading lady with a lot of Bacall-like qualities. Hokey monster, but good scenery and decent acting.

Bowery at Midnight- Bela takes on a double role here, but I was left with a question at the end; was the schizo doctor creating zombies or what?

The Phantom Ship- A waste of Bela in this poorly done effort about the Mary Celeste. The most important lesson I learned from this movie was how sailors got "Shanghai-ed". That part was thought provoking, but the rest seemed to be tacked together.

Yeah, Horrorfest films are pretty much hit or miss, but I've found a few that I really enjoyed.  I usually try to watch the entire entourage, just to see what all the hoopla is about, and do see how Hollywood is really regarding horror.  Being a wanna-be/trying-to-be horror writer, it helps me to know as much about the market as I can.  Sadly, it means having to dip into horrid messes of film (like Nightmare Man) and books (like The Cipher).

Just got this movie called Meridian which I literally had wanted for years after watching it on VHS back in the day.
I had to buy a boxset to get it as I couldn't find it alone but all ended well as it came with some other great 'bad' movies like Head Of The Family. lmao  hot
