Caught a few minutes of this on TV the other day and it looked kind of good.

That movie is insane! Its' like they took Escape From New York, Resident Evil and Mad Max, put them all in a blender, and hit "puree!"

It's certainly not the most original thing to come down the pike but it's definitely bad-ass!

In the mail from SwapaDVD:

Death Wish V: The Face of Death

...the only "DW" sequel I've never seen. Bronson was what, 147 years old when he made this one?

That film contains some ingenious killings, including death by soccer ball and death by laundry bag wrapper.  Buggedout

I ordered five South African DVDs - you would think I'd seen them all and I have - but I would like them for my collection.

Nukie Buggedout
Hans En Die Rooinek [Hans and The Englishman]
Rip Van Wyk [a SA version of Rip Van Winkle]
Ongewenste Vreemdeling [The Unwanted Stranger]
Dr Kalie

Except for the first one, they're all good fun.  TeddyR

Ministry of Fear. We discovered our band name had inspired a film back in the black and white days, and humbled by our influence on the 1940s, I bought a DVD in today time, only to have my DVD player reject the notion that this was a real DVD. Something about zones. I reminded the machine of a certain zone in the junkyard that would love to caress it's innards, but the savvy Panasonic called my bluff and told me to stick it up my laptop.

     GHOST IMAGE (2007)

Elisabeth Rohm stars in Ghost Image - Movie Trailer Small | Large

I only paid $1.99 at Hastings for this movie, but it's well worth watching. I rarely get inside a movie, preferring to just watch, but this made me want things to come out right.

Saw this on Netflix and decided it deserved a spot in my collection.  Not entirely because of the hot blonde, but, well...okay entirely because of the hot blonde.
