Jesus God, I really want to get that set (even though I haven't seen Eyes Wide Shut or Full Metal Jacket and I'm not too crazy about A Clockwork Orange).  I've saved some extra money with the intent of buying a crazy Radiohead box set, but I'm thinking about just spending it on a number of DVDs instead...

About 3 days ago I bought a zombie collection dvd...i already had most of the movies on it but I got it anyway. I love zombies!

  king of the zombies
  teenage zombies
  night of the living dead
  white zombie

there were 2 other movies on there as well but they have slipped my mind at the moment. that tends to happen when i am at work.

The Quiet Duel -- Lots of cheap brand new copies of this from other sellers on Amazon.
Ruby -- I'm on a bit of a Curtis Harrington kick.
Bram Stoker's Dracula -- My wife got me this for my birthday.
Monster House -- Best animated film of 2006!

I actually didn't think that the Savini remake of NOTLD was all that bad. It didn't hurt that Patricia Tallman was quite easy on the eyes either.  This movie got cut to hell for the R rating as at the tale end of the 80's and start of the 90's the MPAA was really cracking down on horror movies in particular.

I would go ahead and get the Stanley Kubrick box set. The extras are plentiful and very informative and finally having these 5 movies in anamoprhic widescreen is too cool.

Ordered this one last night with expedited shipping in hopes of getting it by Halloween.  I have no idea why I never got around to purchasing it before.

As for the Kubrick box, I really want to pick it up but I already have most of the films on DVD.  Also, Dr. Strangelove is not included in the set....wtf?

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Dr. Strangelove was financed and distributed by Columbia pictures.  They own the rights to it. There's already a fantastic 2 disc 40th anniversary set that came out back in 2004.

The ones in the box set were done by Warner Brothers.
