I picked up some used DVD's of The Proposition  (a 2005 Western of sorts set in Australia starring Guy Pearce that's most excellent),  Pan's Labyrinth  (pure genius) and Night Watch (interesting Russian horror movie) for only 16 dollars.

Not really bad or B movies, but great ones nonetheless.   TeddyR

I got The Running Man 2-disc set in the 5 dollar bin at Wal-Mart.  Oh, and a heads up, they've got the 2-disc Escape from New York in there as well, which is a steal.

3 bad movies, in their own way, Smile

First, classic "1980s throwaway horror" in the form of NEON MANIACS. Mel Brooks "worst movie" which just happens to be my favorite yet, even though I haven't seen the ending (hey, Young Frankenstein is wearing off on me after all those childhood viewings Smile) DRACULA: DEAD AND LOVING IT. Finally, the "old" kind of bad movie, that is actually very good, but is valid for this site anyway for sheer cult love: THE OLD DARK HOUSE (1932)... with ACTRESS COMMENTARY by GLORIA STUART of Titanic Fame! hot I LOVE when things work out like that! TeddyR

Also, some bad novelizations, Alan Dean Foster's DARK STAR because it supposedly expands a bit on the film's plot, and FRIGHT NIGHT because it was cheapo.

Wahoo! I love that movie in the "so stupidly cheesy and fun it's impossible not to like!" type of way! Nothing beats theme ghouls who melt like cotton candy.  TeddyR

Today while browsing on Ebay I'm currently bidding on these DVD's

Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D
Underground Comedy Movie
Manos Hands of Fate.

I bought Double Dragon today on Ebay as well.

Against the suggestions of the Legacy collection, I bought the Tod Browning Dracula DVD released back in '99 on eBay.  I got it for $6 including the shipping which I think is pretty darn good.  If I like it enough I'll probably get the Legacy one eventually.

Well I lost my bid for Sgt. Kaubkiman N.Y.P.D, so I ended up buying it on Half.com.

I also won Underground Comedy Movie, and Manos Hands of Fate.  I also put a bit in for The Toxic Avenger box set.  I also purchased Troma's War and yesterday I received Double Dragon.

Ghost Rider 2 Disc

Did you get the 2 disc extended cut of Ghost Rider?

I got to see this last weekend at a friend's house and while not a great movie by any means, it also wasn't quite the disaster that I thought it would be as well.  It's got some quirky charms and Nicholas Cage's performance is endearingly odd.

Yes the extended cut, no it's not a great movie but it's fun and entertaining and that's what movies should be right?

Today I picked up

The Proposition
Alien Insurrection
King of the Ants
Night Watch (Nochnoy dozor)
