King of the Ants
God damn, I loved that movie.  Stuart Gordon has made some really strange moves toward the mainstream lately.  This one was still low-budget, but it was a far cry from the material he's best known for.  Edmond moved him that much closer.

I just picked up the Dragon Dynasty release of Hard Boiled.  It's pretty hot.

Also:
Eastern Condors & The Mutilator

I'll probably bag The Host tonight and definitely Hot Fuzz on tuesday.  I can't get enough Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright/Nick Frost

Yeah, and the Weinstein Company screwed up the transer on it as well. They cropped the picture and then stretched back out the image so that it looks like everyone in the movie has put on at least 50 pounds.

They also used DUBTITLES instead of subtitles which is a huge no no for foreign films.

I'm holding onto my Winstar/Fox Lorber one for now.

I had bought Richard Stanley's HARDWARE a while back...just got done watching it....wow. Whatta trippy movie! If you haven't seen it,I highly recommend it! I'ts got cool music (by NIN and Motorhead!) a cool killer robot, and Iggy Pop as an unseen DJ! And a wild psychedelic death scene! Weird!  Thumbup

I can't confirm the use of dubtitles, but the picture looked fine to me.

I picked up Enemy Mine (yes, I like this movie!), thought Lou Gossett should've gotten some kind of award.  I also got the two disk  Special Edition Running Man to add to my Arnold collection.

Ain't the Walmart $5 bin wonderful sometimes?
