Re-Animator 2 disc collector's DVD

I haven't seen any extras or heard any commentary on this film before, so I'm hoping it's good. Should be delivered tomorrow.  Smile

I went berserk recently, when the local Hollywood Video closed, and bought a whole bunch of stuff:

A Tale Of Two Sisters
Shower
Strange Circus
Jaws: The Revenge
Unknown Island
Lost Continent
The Pit And The Pendulum
The Brood
Kill Bill Vol. I
Kill Bill Vol. 2

There were actually 27 titles and I can't remember them all off the top of my head.

Drive-In Cult Classics 1 & 2.
"Mad Men of Mandoras" and "The Creeping Terror" are so worth getting DICC 2-- stay away from "They Saved Hitlers Brain" the newer footage makes it unbearable to watch, Mad Men is far more enteraining than its predecessor.
I don't really care for DICC 1, "The Teacher" was kinda cool.

I got Slasher Collection with
"Deep Red"; "Cat O' Nine Tails"; "Craze"; "Murder Mansion", and "Scream Bloody Murder". Outta all of these I've seen SBM, it's pretty cool, the killer has a hook hand and he's a total dork; definately worth a look.

...and for as much as I deplore the movie, I got my hooks on a 183-minute version of the '84 David Lynch version of Dune, if only for the behind-the scenes and interview extras.  I love seeing what goes into a disaster of this magnitude.

I went ape-kaplooey and bot a bunch of horror/weird movies on sale from Amazon.  They have some pretty good deals.  Lot's of Something Weird stuff pretty cheap (like 4.99)

here goes:
"The Tingler"
"Wizard Of Gore (Special Edition)"
"Mantis in Lace"
"A Scream in the Streets"
"Carnival of Blood / Curse of the Headless Horseman"
"Day of the Nightmare / Scream of the Butterfly"

The final bill + shipping was 31 bucks... pretty sweet.

Picked up over the last few weeks:

Iron Man
The Killing Kind -- Up until this DVD release this was an incredibly rare Curtis Harrington film.  It's a rather disturbing movie!
Christine -- One of a small handful of John Carpenter films I have yet to see.  Got it at Best Buy for $4.99.
Phantasm -- Never seen it but it was also $4.99.  There are a lot of titles (mainly horror flicks) on sale for $4.99 and $6.99 at Best Buy stores and I'm assuming online as well.

last week my store had a "buy 2 get the third free" sale. i got the new "four film favorites" sets with a nightmare on elm street 1-4, and 5-8, and picked up dario argento's opera for free. i'd never seen it, and while it certainly isn't as good as some of his earlier stuff, i'm glad to own it.
