I guess this doesn't have the MST3K guys on it, but I'm sure it will be pretty entertaining anyway.

Impulse buys for $10.  If it hadn't been the 2-disc version of ACROSS THE UNIVERSE I would have passed.

Out of print. And it is loaded with extras.  Something Weird doesn't even have it listed as a selection for DV-R.  Mmmmm...I wonder.  Could someone have bought the rights and be planning a remake/reboot? Now there is a scary thought.

I went to Blockbuster again and bought a couple of things from their bargain bin:

Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (Jackpot!)

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li:

Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep:

Electra:

Disaster Movie Unrated: (Why yes, I am in the mood for some punishment and terrible cinema!  Why you ask?)

X-mas was good to me.

*Terror Firmer- my favorite film by Lloyd Kaufman, superbly twisted.
*Screamplay- It's a shame and a wonder no one talks about this film.
*Splatter Farm- Hilarious, definitely better than Peter Rottentail, one the Polonia Bros. later films that I actually purchased from a gas station BounceGiggle
*Hell Comes to Frogtown- Always loved this one, glad to have it on DVD
*Kaiju Big Battel: Terebi Sento- The first fight is a bit dull, but the rest make it a worthwhile purchase.
*Toolbox Murders- Tobe Hooper's version, have yet to watch.
*Gorehouse Classics- Bought at Wal-Mart like everyone else, still have yet to watch any of the films.
*Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror- Vault of Horror is censored, which means I've yet to see it uncensored, which sucks.
*Basket Case- Looooved this and the sequel, but have yet to buy the sequel, Frank Henenlotter has become one of my favorite directors.
