I'm not RC, but it is a very good film, definitely trying to do something unique with the science fiction/horror meld. And, even though the costumes might look goofy now, they were definitely very stylized for this kind of film. Almost fetishistic.

Actually Planet of the Vampires inspired the interior of the space ship in Alien. I own this flick :)


I own this too. I like it quite a lot! The photography is great-and it's quite bloody for an early sci-fi. And it's Bava-and I like all things Bava!
