local video store going out of buisness. all dvd's $1.98 american or less. Picked up a dvd of " Not Quite Hollywood" It's a documentary of the australian film industry from the 60's to the 90's. Absolultly worth a look. Lots of clips of older movies. To sum it up in three words.

I lost it along with several other volumes in a move, then it went out of print.  Then more showed up on Amazon so I grabbed it.  If you're interested move quick, they're selling fast (although they promise more on the way).

Blockbuster doing some more deals so I had to snatch up some more movies.  Here's what I got!

Titan A.E.
Paprika  TeddyR
Persepolis
Epic Movie Unrated (Could this possibly be even worse than Disaster Movie?!)
Carnivorous (I got a bad feelings about this, especially with the fact that it starts DMX, only has a one sentance description of the movie on the back, and the positivie movie review blurb on the DVD case is repeated on both sides)

I also bought MST3K: Red Cuba Zone.  Oh dear God does that movie look boring.

My last film was a gift, Toxic avenger on a old rental VHS, it has very bad image quality.

My latest buy was a Swedish film, "Göta Kanal 3"; it is very bad, it is badly written, the jokes in it are silly, the actors is old and not funny... I think "Göta Kanal 3" is the worst Swedish film of all time.

Yet another bad movie in my proud collections of bad movies.

ive been tight on cash lately cuz ive been looking to buy car, so in the past 3 months or so, ive only bought 2 dvds. one of which i found at a thrift store for about 5 bux and the other i got at Target for about 8.

Watched the Invaders from Mars remake and thought it was pretty good. Not GREAT, but worth the money I spent on it. I tried sitting thru Strange Invaders and got really bored.

This one definatly lived up to the hype. I havent watched the special features yet (its a double disker) but I was very pleased with the movie. It was like Goonies meets Ghostbusters.

Target also has Ultraman series 1 volume one for 5 bux Im thinking about buying. Ive never seen a single episode of Ultraman, but for THAT price, I cant go wrong!

How could a movie with no plot be worse than a movie with no plot? well, it SUCKED! IT IS ELEMENTARY COMEDY THAT IS JUST LIKE DISASTER MOVIE.
