Thrift store pickup for 50 cents:

Gina Gershon (hot!!) and Drea DeMatteo (hot!!) as members of a struggling all-girl rock band. I've heard good things about this one and have been wanting to see it for awhile, it was a pleasant surprise to find it on the shelf of my rinky-dink local thrift store!

I remember walking out off K-Mart and seeing a bunch of $10 movies on sale, so I got. Some movies I knew I saw I loved, 'Get him to the greek', 'Cowboys and Aliens' aswell as movies I wanted to see 'Resident evil afterlife' 'paranormal activity 3' and one I simply thought looked cool 'young adult' which was not bad at all. Sorta reminded me a bit off Bad teacher. Which I will get next on DVD.

My interest in the film is piqued.

Blu-rays:
Return of the Living Dead
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

Such ugly artwork on both, gonna have to see if I can find or make a custom cover.

It's supposed to be pretty good I guess, based on the 2 reviews I've found on the web.  Hope so, I paid eighteen bucks for it   Buggedout

It's always nice when independent filmmakers can recoup their budget.

Back in the buying groove again!  Got the following for a grand total of $10...

Murder By Death (because I watched the heck out of this decades ago on The Movie Channel...)

Enter The Dragon (the two-disc version, complete with documentaries, interviews, trailers and TV spots)

...and the jewel of my sojourn today...

Dark Shadows (2012) (I'd been wanting to see this one, and why not now - especially since it was only $3.00??)

...I will report back on this last one.   TeddyR

The Ward
Re-Animator
Blue Velvet
Something Wicked This Way Comes - One of my favorites.  I've had the Anchor Bay DVD for years but it isn't anamorphic which isn't so hot since I have a widescreen TV these days, so I used some Disney movie reward points for the newer release.  I wish this would get a real special edition of some kind (Blu-ray would be lovely) with the commentary that Ray Bradbury recorded for the laserdisc version.

The Avengers- how anyone can be terribly disappointed with this boggles my mind.  I saw it maybe three times in theaters.
Dark Shadows- I quite liked it.
The Three Stooges- haven't watched it yet, but heard the three actors do incredibly well, especially Sean Hayes as Larry
