Claws' favorite movie  BounceGiggle

Hey it was 1 cent plus $3.99 shipping.

Wow: $4? That's 40 South African rand - how do they make a profit?  Question

Maybe someone is sponsoring efforts to make it disappear?

I got it used and considering the popularity level of the movie I imagine they were happy to get a penny for it.  TeddyR  They probably make a buck or so off the shipping I would guess.

I recent bought this and watched it. It was one of those films I kept bumping into on late night TV back in the day, and remembered enjoying the dramatic tension, though I could never quite figure out what was going on. After watching this version (beautifully remastered), I realized what an amazing and devastating film it really is. It also did a great job of slapping the conventions of the suburban wealthy across the chops.

It's really a forgotten classic. One of those movies that gets better the more you think back on it. The really weird part of all of this is that the DVD/Blu-ray is released by Grindhouse Releasing, whose other titles are THE BEYOND, CANNIBAL FEROX, CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST, SCUM OF THE EARTH, I DRINK YOUR BLOOD... One of these is not like the others...

Yeah, I noticed that. Just goes to show that they have a broad idea of what "grindhouse" could be. Not that there is any blood, but this movie really is far-removed from the mainstream films of its time and even now. Not "grindhouse" so much as "alternative". No, I'm not using that as a reference to gay films. Just not your average type of film. It bombed at the box office, which tells you that people weren't in the mood for an introspective art-type film wrapped in Hollywood goodness...just like today.

Still, an incredible film full of amazing performances and packing one hell of a punch.

Finished up my "Film Crew" collection. I really wished this series had continued past 4 episodes.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II/Godzilla Vs. Spacegodzilla blu-ray

Slasher Video are having a sale on eBay and Amazon where all the DVD's are $5.00 (combined shipping on eBay makes for a WAY better deal), so I uh, ordered them all...

Death Nurse
Death Nurse II
Cemetery Sisters
Trashology
Boardinghouse
Splatter Architects of Fear
Cinco de Mayo

I went ahead and ordered the Boardinghouse t-shirt to complete the collection, haha!

Can't wait for these to arrive!  Slasher Video is basically a one man show and he's doing great work for a very niche market, I mean, the first three releases are Nick Millard films.  If you want any of these get them at this price while you can!

I downloaded The Swimmer a long while back and I haven't gotten around to watching it.  It has a great soundtrack; Marvin Hamlisch's first film score I think.

VAMPIRE CIRCUS (1972), I should have added this one to my collection sooner. Classic 70s vampire flick.

A picked up a collection of the four Ninja Turtles movies for five bucks.

The first two are really fun.  The third is kind of a waste of time and the CG one a mixed bag.  it's got some really good stuff, but the plot just doesn't quite work for me.

This is a rare out-of-print collection of short transgressive punk films - thrilled when I found a copy on Ebay for $35, cheapest I've ever seen it
