A Walk Among the Tombstones

Why did I just read that as "A Walk Among the Tomatoes"? Phew, I must be tired....  BounceGiggle

Sharkando 3. After watching it, Kristi (who is a big fan of the first two) declared she is done with Sharknado movies.

That is a good one. Did you get the Severin Blu-Ray with "Axe", "Kidnapped Coed", and the supposed mash-up of the two films called "Bloody Brothers" (I haven't watched it yet)?

The documentary about the making of the two movies is as good as the actual films. You will end up with a severe dose of dislike for distributor Harry Novak who was allegedly a major thief when it came to films and paying filmmakers what they were due.

Sadly, Leslie Lee, who plays Lisa in "Axe", declined to give an interview for the release. It's a shame as I would love to know what she has done since then.

Not much from what I can see. She supplies the voice, if not her appearance, for the episode "Keeping On" on "American Playhouse" in 1983, as the narrator. She does appear as herself in the 2010 documentary "Video Nasties : Moral Panic, Censorship and Videotape."

Yeah, she isn't in the Video Nasties as herself. They just show clips from Axe.

Good documentary, though. And the follow up ("Video Nasties: Draconian Days") was just as good. Plus, you get two discs of the trailers for all the movies on the Nasties list in the first set (the secondary list of contentious titles is covered in "VN:DD") with commentaries about why they ended up on the list by some interesting people.

Kim Newman is, unfortunately, featured too often in both sets. He may know his stuff, but he comes across as an insufferable twit in love with the sound of his own voice.

Yes, I checked imdb. I'm more curious about what she has done otherwise, like raise a family, continue her modeling career, or walked away from everything and lives in a cave with her pet nutria.
