These are a few of the albums I've listened to so far this week:

Life Goes On by Loose Cannons
American Idiot by Green Day
Straight Outta Lynwood by Weird Al Yankovic
Greatest Hit...And More by Reel Big Fish
Zoot Suit Riot by Cherry Poppin Daddies
Loud, Fast, Their Toughest Hits by The Ramones.  (I love it.)
A couple of us here are big fans of The Ramones and Rocket To Russia ...

Listening to BRENDA LEE Anthology (1956-1980)

Any Ramones album is good.  But Rocket To Russia has a bunch of good tracks on it.

BLUE OYSTER CULT   "Don't Fear the Reaper: The Best of Blue Oyster Cult"
I do not own it, but must confess to loving that song... I used to hear it often enough, I didn't care about anything else the band did and never bought one of their albums.  I don't hear that song so often nowadays, but I do hear it in my head...  Twirling  Torgo, we could swap albums!  Thumbup

I love that song.  The cowbell skit alone makes it fun to listen to.  I know HIM covered it, but I don't think it'd be as good.

I'm not too familiar with the rest of BOC's work though.  I might check them out.

THE CARS  "Complete Greatest Hits"
Awesome; love that.

They had pretty much convinced famed recluse Ric Ocasek to do a full fledged reunion tour and then their original bass player Ben Orr died of cancer.

A couple of the members are on tour with Todd Rundgren right now billed as The New Cars.

I think I had heard that...I really admire some of TODD RUNDGREN's work, but THE NEW CARS...  Twirling
THE CARS without Ric Ocasek is like THE STOOGES without IGGY...

The song is "Re-hash" by The Gorillaz.

That first album by the Gorillaz is pretty good.  It's like an alternative/rock/hip hop type thing.
