Right now listening to a greatest hits of REM.

But other albums I've enjoyed are:
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
Goriilaz by Gorillaz
Straight Outta Lynwood by Weird Al Yankovic
Dirt by Alice in Chains

JOE COCKER  "Gold" Disc one.
I have a JOE COCKER collection, might be that one...
Saw STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN (about a month before his death) open for JOE COCKER...was stunned when STEVIE finished, half the audience got up and left before JOE COCKER came on!  I got up and exclaimed: "Where you all going???  JOE COCKER's coming on!!!"

I'm on Disc Two of Joe Cocker "Gold" now.

Man, that would have been a hell of a double bill show to see.  I really really wish that I had been old enough to have seen Stevie Ray Vaughan live. Talk about a huge loss.

STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN was amazing and wonderful, but JOE COCKER blew me away; he went spasmodic (as he's known to do) while he was scorching this old blues tune into our subconscious, and the sweat was flying off of him in ropes...okay..., he was awesome live!!!  I've seen a lot of acts, and some great ones, but JOE COCKER is near the top of the list.

Whenever I listen to Joe Coker though, I can't get out of my head John Belushi's uncanny and earily dead on impersonation of him on SNL.  That skit in which he did the duet with Joe Cocker in character was one of the most surreal (but hilarious) moments that I've ever seen on anything.

Time Flies...The Best of Huey Lewis and The News.  What can I say?  I love Huey and the News, and feel they are much underappreciated.

That's my opinion though.

That's gold right there.

I wasn't around back then, but have seen it since, and it's pretty funny.

I'm with you Gilmore.

Right now I'm listening to Clapton, baby.  Live on the 24 Nights CD.

I am in the process of cleaning out my desk at work for a move to a new building. I found Sting: Dream of the Blue Turtles on the bottom (which holds up well) and the Yes Album (which didn't)

Saw CLAPTON live with MARK KNOPFLER... the only time I can remember sitting thru most of a big-name concert.  No light show, no smoke and mirrors, no pyrotechnics, no gymnastics...KNOPFLER was livelier, but CLAPTON stood in the middle of the stage and played...blowing us all away.
