Have you heard about Alex North's score that he composed for Kubrick before Kubrick decided to go with nothing but classical selections?
It seems Kubrick had had problems with soundtrack composers, as Alex North was unaware his score was not used until he saw the film... Leonard Rosenman who scored BARRY LYNDON and was a close personal friend of Kubrick's stated that they would never work together again for the sake of the friendship!

My favorite parts of the 2001 soundtrack are the pieces by Aram Khachaturian and György Ligeti (who also had problems with Kubrick, but apparently ironed them out).

Now listening to parts of LES PAUL & MARY FORD Definitive Collection

Under the Table and Dreaming by Dave Matthews Band

Weezer by Weezer.  (Blue Album)

Weird Al Yankovic by Weird Al Yankovic-- I highly reccomend it.  It's Al's debut album, and features many of the accordian based hits, like "My Balogna", "Another One Rides The Bus", and "Ricky."

Permission To Land- by The Darkness.  Pretty decent album, overall.

Big Ones by Aerosmith.  Their 'greatest hits' collection from like, '87- '94.  Most people would say that was a terrible time for them, but I grew up in the '90s so I was exposed to that stuff first.  I like their earlier stuff too, though.

Aerosmith IMO is one of the very few rock bands to not release a stinker from front to back.  I actually picked up Just Push Play for about 2 bucks a few weeks ago and was surprised at how good some of the album was.  I've even warmed up to Jaded a bit.

Oh, and I'm listening to
at the moment.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Big Daddy Graham's Action News Theme by Big Daddy Graham.  Local guy, but funny.

Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$ by Limp Bizkit-  Can't really defend this.  I like it.  But I was 14 when it came out.
