Well it's great that someone pays such close attention; having started the thread, I say: Yes! Repeats are allowed... mainly because the subject is WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO?  And, well, I was listening to FATS WALLER again last night.   TeddyR

Now That's What I Call Christmas- Granted, a bit early to listen to it.  But it's packed with classics from Tony Bennet, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and the Bing Crosby/David Bowie version of "Little Drummer Boy."  Overall a great listen for two cd's.

Charge of the Tornadoes by The Tornadoes, a '60's surf instrumental (mostly) group -- think "The Ventures" -- who reformed in the 1990's and sound just as good as ever.

I got a promo of this before it came out and used to play it all the time at the record store.  I was shocked by how good it actually was.  I saw Henry Rollins talk about his part in the recording when I saw his spoken word show in Maine and was expecting more Transformed Man weirdness but the listenability of the album is amazing!  It's an honestly good album.  Weird, but good.  The track title that eludes me at the moment, the one with Aimee Mann, is absolutely heartbreaking.  People would come up to me and ask what was playing and they'd wind up leaving with a copy.

As for me, today it's a steady diet of soundtracks:

Also, Morricone's score to Danger: Diabolik!
