I just got done listening to Neil Young's Powderfinger.
Depressing song, but it's great nonetheless.

You inspired me; now I'm listening to Rust Never Sleeps.

James Newton Howard's score to Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire.  Underwhelming movie; not too bad score from a dependable workhorse composer.

Lately been listening to "Young and Restless" a local band who just released their first album.

I'm a big fan of them live, since they're a very thrashy, frantic group.   There also is something to be said about a short Asian girl screaming her lungs out on stage.  Luckily the album is good as well, if a little subtle compared to their live shows.

Download/Listen to their single "Kapow" here [don't worry, it's legit, I think...  TeddyR ]

Or watch their other single Police! Police! below

Dam! OK! I'm HOOKED! KARMA! Wow....!

Woo!  Another bites the dust!

Lucky me they're back in town in a couple of weeks to play a gig [they're touring the album around the country.]  More screaming to come!

The last cover band I was in, Powderfinger was one of the songs we did.  It was cool because the guitarist couldnt sing worth a flip, but he nailed Neil's voice.
